Job Title: Project Manager - Medical Device Product Development

Job Summary: 

Seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Program Directors, the Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of major product development projects. This role involves planning, coordinating, and leading activities to ensure project goals and objectives are met within the prescribed timeframe and budget. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and experience in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage product development projects in compliance with global standards and regulations for Design Controls, Risk Management, and Electrical Safety for Medical Devices.Oversee multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring they meet guidelines, timeframes, and budgets.Apply electrical, mechanical, and software engineering practices at the system level.Work within a phase-gate development process to ensure project milestones are met.

Essential Skills:

BS degree in Engineering.5+ years of experience as an engineer developing products, preferably in the medical device industry.Knowledge of global standards and regulations for Design Controls, Risk Management, and Electrical Safety for Medical Devices.Experience with the product development life cycle and regulatory compliance.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Engineering preferred.PMP certification is desired.

Work Environment: 

This is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week onsite at our Irvine office. The work environment is

dynamic and collaborative, with a strong focus on innovation and compliance with industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00
