Could you be the full-time onsite Project Manager in Kanona, NY, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll lead the execution of engineering projects from conditional assessments to comprehensive overhaul proposals, ensuring they align with contractual obligations and meet customer expectations to optimize cash flow and margin. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Finance, Customer Service), manage project Quality Cost Delivery Planning (QCDP) and project Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Accountability for project Quality Cost Delivery Planning (QCDP) performance and optimization of Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash),
Responsibility for the project governance, including project strategy definition in line with contract requirements, PMP elaboration, and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems,
Leadership and coordination of project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out,
Proper transfer from tender to project and definition of Project objectives and main drivers to achieve customer satisfaction within the frame of the Contract,
Resources management, including forecasting project core team staffing and escalating resource discrepancies,
Team leading, engaging project teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthening relationships among them,
Synchronization of internal partners and arbitration when necessary in alignment with contractual requirements,
Proactive risk, saving, and opportunity management and management of the project progress and its KPIs,
Management of customer and external stakeholders’ relationship, including ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements and managing contract variations

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other relevant field,
Experience or understanding of project management within multi-national and multi-cultural business environments,
Knowledge of railway products, systems, and industry-specific challenges,
Familiarity with overhaul processes and procedures related to train sub-systems,
Strong communication skills, able to convey complex ideas effectively and build rapport with stakeholders,
Proven leadership capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on results,
Ability to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-functional teams,
Experience in customer relationship management and negotiation,
Understanding of Project Management processes and methodologies
