You will be responsible for maintaining the relationship with customers as well as the execution performance and commercial success of projects while working in a team-orientated environment using local and global Emerson project resources.
The North America Engineering Solutions team provides project management, engineering and design services, and supply of control systems hardware and software for control system projects in the Energy, Chemical and Hybrid, and Life Sciences industries.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Coordinate and manage client projects across multiple business units through the full project life cycle process – includes reporting and accountability of schedule, budget, project performance, and quality on several projects concurrently Oversee and participate in project planning, estimating, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution of various projects Maintain and manage client relationship and expectations and assist in the development and implementation of account and project strategies Manage and communicate project changes with customers that may impact either budget or schedule Communicate and coordinate with multiple vendors on commercial as well as technical related project requirements Provide to support current project proposals and sales pursuits Support Business Development sales efforts by addressing internal and external customers on various project execution methodologies and providing ongoing customer insight and historical perspectives. Assist in preparation and development of project proposals and strategy and participate in proposal review meetings, client site visits, and estimating efforts, as required in the development of proposalsWho You Are:

For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience as a project manager with control system projects or 10+ years of experience as a project engineer with control system projects Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be able to provide management oversight Must be able to supervise and coordinate engineers, designers, technicians, and 3rd party suppliers and contractors Control system automation and field instrument experience, familiarity with the various hardware/ software products and services employed for process control system projects Reasonable knowledge of Energy, Chemical and Hybrid, or Life Sciences Industry processes Ability to travel to client locations up to 25% of the time.
