Welcome to the role of Project Manager. In this position, you will understand, plan, coordinate, and track the requirements and tasks of Pillar Innovations’ diverse industrial projects. Project Managers frequently communicate with clients to discuss project requirements and to provide updates. Collaboration with internal groups will include Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, Field Services, Accounting, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Quality Control. The position must be detail-oriented and performance-driven to help synchronize all project elements to ensure successful completion.
The Project Manager will possess a general understanding of industrial projects and a strong understanding of project management and project accounting principles. This position must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include travel and overtime as needed. Overnight travel is typically on an infrequent basis.
What You'll Do Assist subject matter experts in the preparation and review of proposals.Work with Accounting to input and track projected and actual costs, process purchase orders, identify change orders, and create accurate bills.Create, review, and update project schedulesTrack and report project status updates to clients and internal stakeholdersManage and maintain project costs and work-in-progress estimates.Facilitate communications between internal groups, vendors, subcontractors, and clientsOrganize, file, and maintain project documentsSchedule and confirm material and equipment deliveriesDetermine staffing and equipment needs and oversee scheduling and asset managementForecast resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient mannerWorking Conditions
