Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects on landfills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, environmental regulations, and project planning. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects on landfill sites from inception to completion.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and within-budget completion.Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and reports.Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.Communicate project status, updates, and any changes to stakeholders and senior management.Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in landfill or environmental projects.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards related to landfill construction.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsLandfill construction experience.Work Environment

This role involves working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations. The Project Manager will need to travel to various project sites as required and should be prepared to conduct site inspections. The work environment is dynamic and may require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
