Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and staff key field positions to ensure the success of our construction projects. You will establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, while ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with members of the construction project team.Plan, organize, and staff key field positions.Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.Control and monitor construction through the on-site superintendent.Provide technical direction and employee development.Develop and implement project scheduling standards and procedures.Manage all planning and scheduling activities, including schedule development, progress updates, and problem analysis.Maintain input for schedules, cost reports, project accounting, estimates, document control, and RFI/shop drawing logs.Prepare meeting agendas, attend project meetings, and prepare and distribute minutes.Solicit and obtain quotes for vendor-supplied items and subcontracts.Summarize vendor bids based on price, delivery, quality, and past performance.Negotiate terms and conditions.Prepare and issue subcontracts and subcontract change orders.Prepare and place purchase orders and purchase change orders.Handle third-party rental agreements.Address and resolve invoicing problems.Expedite the site delivery of materials and labor.Interact with subcontractors and vendors to address construction issues.Correct any material or equipment defects and monitor warranty claims.Assemble closeout documentation in accordance with contract requirements.Essential SkillsConstruction project management experienceKnowledge of architectural, structural, and/or MEP systemsConstruction/field experienceExceptional computer skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsTechnical knowledge of construction assemblies and construction costsDetail-oriented and organized with strong time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralAbility to work as part of a teamDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering + Management, Architecture, or related field is preferredAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with interior construction, commercial fit-outs, and lab fit-outs5+ years of experience with fit-out projectsStrong scheduling and budget management skillsAbility to run projects independentlyStrong communication skillsAbility to have fun while workingWork Environment

The Construction Project Manager will primarily work from the job site, with some work from home options available. Time will also be spent in the Malden office. This is a women-owned business with a consistent flow of work and a supportive environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $59.00
