**Position Title** : **Project Manager (Non-Profit Experience Required)**
**Location** : Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
**Position Details** :
+ **Contract Duration** : 9-12 months
+ **Hourly Rate** : $45.50 per hour
+ **Weekly Hours** : 35+ hours per week, with weekly pay
+ **Employment Type** : Contract (Full-Time)
+ **Reports To** : Executive Management Team
**Position Overview** :
We are seeking an experienced and driven **Project Manager** with a proven track record in **non-profit project management** . The ideal candidate will oversee impactful projects that elevate the organization as a dynamic center for learning, exploration, dialogue, and community engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping the organization’s strategic impact, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring all initiatives align with the mission and vision of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ **Strategic Project Support** : Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team to provide specialized support for high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission.
+ **Project Planning & Coordination** : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration** : Work cross-functionally with staff, trustees, consultants, and external partners to define and clarify project goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
+ **Financial Oversight** : Manage and track project budgets, monitor expenses, reconcile invoices, and ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
+ **Project Oversight** : Monitor the progress of multiple projects, identify risks and roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
+ **Communication & Reporting** : Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
+ **Team Leadership** : Foster collaboration, problem-solving, and a team-oriented culture, ensuring all stakeholders work toward common goals.
+ **Complex Problem Solving** : Manage high-stakes assignments requiring strategic decision-making, balancing multiple stakeholder expectations and priorities.
+ **Additional Responsibilities** : Take on other duties as assigned by the Executive Leadership Team.
**Qualifications & Experience** :
+ **Required** : Minimum of 3-5 years of **non-profit project management experience** .
+ Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Arts Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (Master’s degree preferred).
+ Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects, ideally within a **cultural or educational** non-profit setting.
+ Strong understanding of **non-profit operations** , project management best practices, and experience in facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders.
+ Exceptional budget management skills, with the ability to track costs and manage financial resources effectively.
+ Impeccable organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate competing priorities.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and external partners.
+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by project needs.
**Physical Requirements** :
+ Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while using office equipment, such as computers.
+ Ability to perform administrative tasks in an office environment and navigate both public and staff areas as required.
**Background Check** :

**Pay Details:** $45.50 per hour
