ENERCON’s Energy Group (EG) is seeking a Project Manager for our Kennesaw, GA (HQ), Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Orlando, FL office locations. This position may be available for Remote for the right candidate.
At ENERCON, the Project Manager is the one who is ultimately responsible for the success of a project. The Project Manager will understand the scope of work, be able to work with and guide the project team, and will be the main point of contact for the client.
ResponsibilitiesENERCON’s Energy Group (EG) provides engineering support to industrial facilities, traditional fossil and hydropower generation facilities, and alternative, renewable, and sustainable power generation facilities, such as solar or alternative fuels. EG focuses on green energy solutions that achieve large-scale production with minimal environmental impacts.
Ability to be considerate and courteous to clients and teammates, while working with an unwavering zeal to provide highest level service to our clientsLead projects while working with technical colleagues to develop winning and highly detailed engineering proposalsDevelop Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, and Work Breakdown StructuresResponsible for development of project schedule, execution of schedule, reporting on schedule, preparing recovery schedules and re-baselining schedulesUnderstand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processesEffectively own and run periodic project meetingsSupport internal and client work standards and schedulesManage engineers and designers as well as supervise sub-contractor personnel to ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, schedules, and technical requirementsLearn and adopt ENERCON’s procedures and use of project management toolsCommunicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to project team membersAnalyze financial health of projects and report out key metrics on projects, internally and externallySupport group with communication regarding resource managementFoster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projectsManage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and the company's satisfactionSupport marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation and follow-upTravel to client facilities for current and future projectsResponsible for the planning, implementation, management, performance, and supervision of client contracts Qualifications Minimum of 4 years experience in a technical industryBachelor's Degree -OR- PMP Certification and 4 years' applicable experienceSkilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and reviewCapable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneouslyKnowledge in earned value management and progress reportingExperienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and reviewAbility to understand and work with budget and accounting processesStrong coordination and team building skillsExcellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skillsAbility to read and write technically and coherentlyEffective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teamsWorking knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to travel between 10%-15% of the time which may include fieldwork; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.
