Job Summary:
Responsible for Scheduling, maintenance, and repair work. GFEBS training and data input into GFEBS. Assignment of work among all trades Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion and respect for persons with disabilities.
Essential Functions:
Ensuring the working environment is safe and without risk to health and compliant with all current health, safety and environmental legislation Planning and costing a routine maintenance program for buildings, grounds and equipment including boilers, heating, air-con and kitchens Managing all our infrastructure and building services including systems, water, utilities and equipment Appointing and supervising a range of suppliers and contractors working on maintenance tasks Inspecting all maintenance and repair work to ensure that company standards are maintained. Tests, repairs, and replaces or installs electrical generators, transformers, and uninterrupted power systems Responsible for utilizing GFEBS on a military installation to analyze Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE), business intelligence, and projects. Assist as needed during Snow removal Comply with priorities for the flow of work Use technology for the completion of specified job duties Use and care for equipment properly following all safety requirements Attend work regularly according to assigned work schedule Wear ID badge(s) at all times while performing work under this contract. Follow instructions Attend and participate in all meetings and activities to facilitate professional development Work cooperatively with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous manner Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications Pass and comply with rules for the site, security and safety guidelines, and Chimes District of Columbia Rules for the Workplace, and ensure others do the samePhysical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands:

Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to drive License must have been valid for at least 3 years Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency’s insurance carrier and by Chimes DC policies and procedures Candidates with disabilities preferred Secret Clearance required and maintained US Citizenship requiredEssential Personnel:
This position is designated as essential. This means that when the facility is faced with an institutional emergency, employees in this position may be required to remain at their work location or to report to work to protect, recover, and continue operations at the facility.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred Formal electrical training GFEBS Training CMMS Training
Experience:
A minimum of five (10) years of experience working conducting O&M Maintenance oversight Extremely high level of attention to detail. Ability to perform quality work while following safety procedures Must be knowledgeable of and able to apply all local, state, and federal codes Must be able to read a blueprint Must be able to work OT if and when neededWhat’s in it for you?
