Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will work on commercial and local government projects in the Northern Virginia (NOVA) and Washington, DC areas. This is a highly reputable role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position after a contract-to-hire period. The work is primarily focused on interior projects such as offices, garages, and upgrades. Responsibilities + Assist the Project Manager in managing multiple small-scale interior projects simultaneously. + Ensure timely completion of RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and budgeting tasks. + Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. + Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and clients. + Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to upper management. Essential Skills + 10+ years of experience for Project Manager in commercial construction. + Experience working on small interior projects, particularly office spaces and SCIFs. + Proficiency in managing RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and budgeting. + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A relevant degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred (5+ years of experience required if holding such a degree). + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with local government projects is a plus. Work Environment This is a fast-paced role that requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The position involves both on-site and office work in the NOVA or DC areas. The successful candidate must be able to work 40-45 hours per week and be comfortable with a salaried-exempt status. The dress code is business casual. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
