We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing fit-out projects. The role involves managing projects in Connecticut and one in New York, attending meetings with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure specifications are met, negotiating contracts, creating work schedules, performing take-offs and materials procurement, and managing RFI's and submittals.
Responsibilities
+ Manage commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing fit-out projects.
+ Attend meetings with architects, engineers, and subcontractors on-site.
+ Ensure projects are built to specifications.
+ Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
+ Create work schedules with 2-week and 3-month look-aheads.
+ Perform take-offs and materials procurement.
+ Create RFI's and track submittals.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
+ Experience with commercial construction and project management.
+ Strong emphasis on scheduling.
+ Experience with change orders, RFI's, submittals, and take-offs.
+ Experience managing project budgets exceeding $1 million.
+ Proficiency in Procore and MS Office.
+ Experience with fit-outs, renovation projects, or ground-up construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ PMP certification.
+ Experience working on healthcare projects and/or manufacturing, clean rooms, and biopharma.
+ Project management experience at a general contractor or from subcontractors.
Work Environment
Work hours are from 7am to 4pm. Worksites are located in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role will involve splitting time between the company's headquarters in Brookfield and various worksite locations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $75.00
