What is the role about? 

The Project Manager (PM) drives the execution of customer projects on time and within budget, ensuring that the agreed project objectives and deliverables are achieved. The PM has the overall responsibility for planning and coordination of activities necessary to achieve a successful project outcome regarding scope, schedule, and cost. With a focus on communication and collaboration, the PM ensures a preeminent customer experience and mitigates risk exposure for the client and Endress+Hauser. 

Which tasks will you perform? 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while overseeing large-scale, technically complex initiatives.  Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation.  Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary liaison and single point of contact between the customer and Endress+Hauser, as well as other stakeholders and subject matter experts.  Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on project outcomes.  Utilize project pipeline data to identify opportunities requiring support during project pursuit and preparation for execution and provide necessary assistance.  Promote continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance project delivery processes.  Collaborate closely with the Sales team to foster trust, transparency, and accountability, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and successful project delivery while maintaining data integrity. 

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, with at least 5 years of project management experience, or equivalent education and experience.  Travel up to 15%, occasional for customer kick off meetings and visits to Greenwood, IN (US headquarters) or other regional centers  

You may have (preferred):  

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices and proficient understanding of commercial-related matters such as pricing, terms, and conditions.   Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.   Utilizes strategic planning, organization, and resource allocation to coordinate and manage multiple projects with varying demand, timelines, and budget constraints. Demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation, taking pride in their work and channeling energy into achieving tasks with a strong sense of ownership. Prioritizes the customer perspective in business decisions by actively seeking to understand customer needs and problems, initiating solutions based on this understanding, and implementing feedback to enhance the overall experience and prevent future issues. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results in challenging environments.  Demonstrates a commitment to incorporating the customer perspective into business decisions and activities
