Job Description
We have an immediate need for a Project Manager to support our ongoing projects at various high-profile medical clients. This position is open due to growth and will help alleviate the extra workload from our current team. The Project Manager will develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and other management tools while ensuring effective communication with all internal and external customers.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and other management tools.Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.Possess general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.Be familiar and comfortable with current technology.Have more involvement in the entire job cycle on selected small projects under supervision.Obtain all required project permits and ensure all permits and permitted plans are saved in the appropriate project file.Assist Superintendent and APMs with updating and maintaining the project schedule.Ensure that monthly updates are performed against the baseline schedule and saved in the appropriate project files and distributed as necessary.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience in a related field.At least 3 years of experience in project management for vertical construction.Strong computer skills with experience in Primavera, Bluebeam, or Procore.Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar platform.Experience in RFI & submittal generation and processing.Ability to read blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in healthcare technology such as MRI's, accelerators, etc.Work Environment
The role is based in an office trailer on site at the Mayo Clinic. The position may require some night or weekend work for short periods depending on project demands. There may also be opportunities for overtime. These are hourly roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
