We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead all stages of our projects from initiation through the realization phase following the Stage Gate process. The ideal candidate will manage project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all specified requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Lead multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on-time, on-budget, and meeting all requirements (quality, cost, schedule, scope).
+ Execute projects and manage all aspects including developing project goals and business objectives, finalizing scope and budget, and creating project plans.
+ Negotiate staffing with Line of Business and monitor and control project work.
+ Manage project data, report performance, and seek approvals from the steering group.
+ Oversee project procurement, delivery/installation, commissioning, qualification, change control, and team.
+ Monitor and report project progress regularly.
+ Assemble the project team and manage tasks and time closely, especially for external staff.
+ Ensure financial project accountability through purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting.
+ Align with global programs and other site projects to actively share best practices, knowledge, and visions.
+ Assist with any required training of personnel supporting the project.
+ Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
Essential Skills
+ At least 5 years of project management experience relating to new installs or upgrades of facility systems, manufacturing equipment, or lab equipment.
+ Experience managing projects in utility systems, lab equipment, and pharmaceutical production equipment.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide regular status updates.
+ Experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
+ Ability to complete deliverables with minimal guidance after the onboarding/training period.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with clean and black utility generation and distribution equipment.
+ Knowledge of utility control and monitoring systems.
+ Familiarity with power generation and monitoring systems.
+ Experience with HVAC equipment and systems for controlled and uncontrolled spaces.
Work Environment
The work environment is primarily a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting with a requirement to work onsite at least four days per week. There may be occasions, especially during larger projects and plant shutdowns, where working onsite five days, evenings, and/or weekends is necessary. The possibility of some hybrid work exists, but the role is predominantly onsite.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00
