Project Manager
An architecture firm located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Project Manager to their team! Job Description: + Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and ensures quality by marking corrections / red lines in preparation for review, bidding, permitting and construction + Identifies, researches and develops solutions for technical and design challenges + Performs code research to ensure that all necessary codes are applied to design solutions and construction documentation + Manages the permitting process in its entirety + Manges coordination of projects with all outside project consultants and vendors + Manages and performs site observations and prepares site visit reports + Manages the Construction Administration phase including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in OAC calls + Writes reports and memos to consultants and vendors to issue changes and track resolutions + Reviews and redlines completed reports, outside consultant plans, estimates and calculations for coordination and compliance with project scope + Actively participates in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to schedule + Skilled in leading projects, including setting priorities and assigning tasks; Oversees and works collaboratively, offering technical expertise and guidance + Assist in scheduling and meeting project deadlines + Responsible for coordinating professional service contracts + Participates in client relationship meetings alongside the Team Lead + Participates in monthly billing alongside Team Lead Qualifications: + Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture + 4+ years of experience in a role that required documentation, project management, and people management + Ability to produce construction documents in AutoCAD + Prior experience supporting a project from schematic design through construction administration + Ability to maintain quick project turnaround times + Revit proficiency is a plus Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $37.50 • Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Des Plaines,IL.
