The Associate Project Manager is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules, and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within agreed-upon time, scope, and resource requirements. The role includes defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments, and managing communication and change/process management related to project outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Independently provide project oversight and direction to team members and project stakeholders.
+ Facilitate communication between customers, service providers, and internal stakeholders, including technical support in coordination with the engineering team.
+ Review and provide support and coordination on project-related documentation, technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and other project-related materials.
+ Manage specific project-related tasks and field customer concerns, working with appropriate parties for resolution.
+ Facilitate technical assistance to internal and external customers.
+ Apply basic project management concepts and practices.
+ Track project milestones and deliverables, and report on project and program progress as directed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two-year Associate’s Degree or better in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work as part of a team.
+ Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts.
+ Knowledge of utility methods, techniques, and procedures involved in budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
+ Ability to make decisions independently, influence others, and resolve issues.
+ Customer-oriented with a positive, team-oriented attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and a solid work ethic.
+ AutoCAD Drafting
+ Strong communication skills
Work Environment
The role requires the candidate to be local to Seattle. It is a hybrid position, with a 50/50 office/remote split. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
