Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the optimization and development of our Sonic Automotive & EchoPark websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and experience in managing consumer-facing website projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring that our websites meet the needs of our users and aligns with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision: Assist in the vision and strategy for our websites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.Project Management: Lead and manage website initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to launch and tracking.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketing, and sales, to deliver on time and within budget.Market Research: Collaborate with our UX researcher and conduct user & industry analysis to identify trends, needs, and opportunities for innovation within the retail space.Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement and optimization.Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, user stories, and project plans. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

QualificationsExperience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the website arena. Expertise in partnering with 3rd party agency and inhouse team to complete project on time.Retail Knowledge: Understanding of the retail industry and its specific needs and challenges, particularly in technology.Technical Skills: Familiarity with website processes, tools, and methodologies. Experience with agile development practices is a plus.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate vision and strategy to diverse stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Experience with specific retail technology platforms or tools.Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for websites
