Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team in Durban. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of both residential and commercial projects, including shopping centers, across KZN and the Eastern Cape. The role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning and coordination to completion, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of residential and commercial projects in KZN and the Eastern Cape. Manage and coordinate the professional team to ensure seamless project execution. Oversee the administration of contracts, with a strong understanding of JBCC contracts. Apply strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines and budgets. Foster effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders involved. Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and report on project status.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven expertise in Project Management, ideally in construction or similar fields. Experience in coordinating professional teams and managing project execution. Strong understanding of the JBCC contract and contract administration. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in relevant project management tools and software. A degree or diploma in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Membership or affiliation with relevant project management associations is an advantage.
