POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery department in our Minneapolis, MN office, and work remotely in Texas. This position will manage various types of Transmission and Distribution projects.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-outManage project implementation including project schedule, project budget, and the project resources including external vendors and contractorsServe as the primary project authority for assigned project personnel on major project-related issuesDirect project team and lead the project management processResponsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and department procedures during all the phases of the projectRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree and industry-related experience from an accredited university required – engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline preferredExperience five (5) + years of professional experience in the construction, and/or electric power and communications industryFive (5) + years relevant project management experienceRelevant experience includes large-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large/complex projectsKnowledge and experience with project management processes and toolsProficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility settingDesired Education/ExperienceA Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationFive (5)+ years of project management experienceExperience in project management controls area
