Location: Remote – Anywhere in the contiguous US
Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $75-85k*

 

Job Summary
You will play a vital leadership role as a Project Manager in Franklin Covey's Content team. We build products that enable our clients to succeed in the most profound and important challenges of leadership and human performance and want team members who are inspired by this and want to give their best.

 

Your role in that is driving product development. You are responsible for managing the process by initiating the project from research to a defined scope. Writing a business plan, with a clearly defined budget and timeline. Then manage to that budget and timeline through clear expectations to meet our high-quality standards. You’ll need to be proactive and collaborative to coordinate stakeholders — from senior management to third-party contractors and subject matter experts — acquire resources, manage multiple schedules, communicate early and often, anticipate and adjust for change and whatever else comes your way - and there is always something new that will come your way. Having a high degree of initiative, flexibility and self-direction will help you excel in this role.

 

Essential Job Functions

Oversee project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Work with multidisciplinary team to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. Effectively communicate project status, expectations and issues to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Maintain project milestones, schedules and deliverables for multiple projects concurrently. Work collaboratively to manage changes in project scope and direction to quickly recalibrate schedules and budgets. Manage project budgets and vendor relationships. Track multiple threads of development and deliverables at a given time within a project. Help train/support less experienced Associate Project Managers and Project Managers. Focus on continual process improvement by helping the Director develop and maintain documentation for process and training.

 

Basic Qualifications 

5+ years of experience in a project management capacity.

 

Preferred Skills & Experience 

BS/BA. Strong prioritization skills and understanding of urgency to apply to different tasks/deliverables. Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a team in an environment of change. Can exercise good judgment, creative problem solving and discretion in making decisions that impact stakeholders. Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing. Think ahead while helping the team deliver on the immediate needs. Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure. Proficiency in MS Office (familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Project etc.) Ability to manage diverse interests among stakeholders and handle disagreements with diplomacy and respect.
