Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects to ensure they align with the organization’s goals and objectives. This role involves project planning and execution, stakeholder management, resource allocation, and risk management to deliver projects on time, within scope, within budget, and meeting project goals. The Project Manager will follow the AMI Stage Gate process.
Responsibilities
Develop project plans, goals, and objectives in alignment with organizational strategy.
Define project milestones, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Identify and manage relationships with key stakeholders.Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals, progress, and challenges.Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.Identify the resources needed for assigned projects.Coordinate with functional leaders to identify resource needs and resolve conflicts.Identify potential risks and issues within the project and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.Develop and manage the project budget.Track project expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.Prepare financial reports and forecasts as needed.Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and best practices.Plan and execute project quality control processes.Contribute to best project management practices and maintain project management discipline.Develop and deliver project status reports to management and stakeholders.Utilize metrics and KPIs to assess project performance and implement improvements.Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.Ensure all change requests are properly documented and communicated.Provide leadership and direction to the project team.Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.Mentor and support the professional development of team members.Essential Skills
8+ years of experience with new product developmentExperience launching products from concept to completionBachelor's Degree in Business Management, Administration, or EngineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMP (Program Management Professional) certificationEngineering experienceMaster’s degreeExperience with metals, vinyl, and materialsWork Environment
The project is related to windows, patio, and siding (vinyl/metal). The role is hybrid on-site in a standard office environment with an attached manufacturing facility. This person will report into the supply chain and support projects related to engineering design.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $62.00/hr.
