Description The Department of Medicine is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead key hiring initiatives and support the department's strategic goals. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that enhance recruitment efforts and operational efficiency. The Project Manager will develop and deliver engaging presentations, website and social media content, communications, and reports while collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes, improve engagement, and ensure the successful implementation of hiring initiatives. Managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the hiring process within a leading academic medical institution. Hourly range: $28.30-$54.74Qualifications Required: + Bachelor's degree in related field and or equivalent experience + 2-4 years of relevant experience. + Ability to work independently and also have interpersonal skills to work with teams. + Demonstrated writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables. + Experience communicating effectively and professionally and working with a variety of internal and external partners, including UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers and community representatives. + Working knowledge of evaluation, creating datasets, grant writing and proposal submission. + Strong organizational skills to successfully work on and track complex programs involving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with multiple teams to achieve program/project mission and goals. + Working knowledge of program/project development, evaluation, creating datasets, financial management and reporting, research principles including CITI training, grant writing and proposal submission, University procedures and policies, program/project related federal and state regulations. + Ability to seek out and learn new policies, procedures, and software to advance the mission of the program/project. + Ability to train new program/project managers and other staff within and external to the unit.
