**Job Description:**
The Project Manager coordinates special projects, innovations, and improvements coordinated with ED programs including Transition support. Typically oversees all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provides applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources. Active participant in innovation board and continual service improvement analysis. The Project Manager is adept in PMBOK and ITIL principles, Agile, scheduling, and resource management. The Project Manager is also adept in Cyber Security Risk Management Framework and Zero Trust Framework and Architectures. The Project Manager has experience in Cyber Operations and Cyber Security Authorization and Accreditation.
SCOPE: Manage a medium to large team or department focused on multiple areas. Medium to High complexity.
**HOW A PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**
+ Directs technical teams and facilitates the integration of subtasks to ensure the optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors
+ Serves as focal point to the Government for managing all tasks and subtasks and as Principal Representative for project direction and providing project status updates, including financial status, and ensuring client satisfaction
+ Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry developments, and incorporate relevant advancements into the cybersecurity strategy
+ Reduce cost and optimize enterprise cybersecurity posture through efficiencies, reciprocity, security shared services, and automationBriefs and reports on significant issues, provides recommended solutions in a transparent manner, and takes corrective action to issues
+ Manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities
+ Support development of policies, strategies, and communications relative to cybersecurity
+ Effectively manage, monitor, and communicate enterprise security risk by maintaining visibility across the enterprise
+ Reduce cost and optimize enterprise cybersecurity posture through efficiencies, reciprocity, security shared services, and automation
+ Provide strategic direction and leadership for the cybersecurity services team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs
+ Ensures compliance with all policy, process, regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract:
+ Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
+ Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
+ Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
+ Participate in special projects as required.
+ Review future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related work experience.
+ Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust for this position.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
