Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering or business, along with the ability to manage complex projects, build customer relationships, and drive project success.
ResponsibilitiesLead domestic and international projects through all milestone phases.Construct project timelines, monitor, and manage those timelines to achieve all delivery milestones.Facilitate relationships between customers and the organization, providing exemplary customer service and communication.Collaborate with team members and managers to monitor project progress, budget limits, project financials, risks, and opportunities.Document and drive action/recovery plans as required.Monitor purchasing and the on-time delivery of materials and contractors.Organize project meetings, issue minutes, track and report project progress, and follow up on action items.Assist in achieving the company’s strategic objectives by aligning resources with goals and pursuing opportunities that meet departmental objectives.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business discipline.Minimum of 5+ years of Project Management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Knowledge of engineering terms and principles, industrial equipment, automation, process, and commonly used design practices.Experience with manufacturing type contracts, preferably in the machine tool, automation, and/or industrial industries.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedure manuals.Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in math and computer skills.MRP/ERP experience; SAP experience preferred.Ability to travel up to 20%-30% of the time, sometimes internationally.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor is a huge plus.Conceptual and blueprint understanding is highly desirable.Hands-on experience with mechanical components and electrical components.Work Environment
The company is a 60-person firm located in Deer Park, with 40 individuals on the corporate side. The role involves interaction with clients and participation in sales meetings. The company specializes in balancing and vibration equipment and serves multiple industries, including aerospace, defense, and automotive. A strong training program is provided, with potential for travel to interesting new industries, including training trips to Germany.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
