What the day will look like Affinity Insurance Services, Inc. seeks a Project Manager reporting to headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to manage Information Technology (IT) projects. Manage projects focused on the creation and enhancement of insurance products leveraging data analytics and interactive materials. Provide thought leadership and cross functional collaboration with business partners in client management, product design, analytics, operations, finance, and technology. Collaborate with IT to deploy products in multiple technical environments. Lead cross functional project initiation phase to resolve and document project scope, effort, timeline, cost, dependencies, and alternatives. Create and manage project plans and sprint plans by outlining tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Manage and execute IT projects to ensure the project deliverables and timelines. Onboard new clients and set up their accounts on the company’s online systems. Implement change management as needed and assess the impact of the change on the project budget, scope, and schedule. Schedule and lead steering committee meetings and strategy meetings. Oversee quality requirements of IT projects and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project quality. Utilize project management tools including Microsoft Project and Jira. Manage and support project coordination using Microsoft Office tools, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Telecommuting available 5 days a week. Annual Salary: $89,900 - $149,800. Job Location: 200 E. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601 Skills and experience that will lead to success Master’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, plus two years of IT project management experience. Must have at least two years of experience in each of the following: 1. Leveraging data analytics and interactive materials to manage IT projects; 2. Creating and managing project plans and sprint plans by outlining tasks, milestones, and deliverables; 3. Implementing change management; 4. Overseeing quality requirements of IT projects; 5. Utilizing project management tools including Microsoft Project and Jira; and 6. Managing and supporting project coordination using Microsoft Office tools, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
