Job Title: Project Manager Job Description This position will be responsible for coordinating and directing construction in a project management capacity for electrical utility construction projects. The role involves being the single point of management from pre-planning to total construction administration services. You will participate in the development of processes, procedures, and systems to deliver projects to our customers on schedule and within budget. The successful candidate will coordinate and work alongside the project team to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Effective communication with the client/owner and onsite construction crews is essential to ensure project safety, quality, schedule, and other milestones are being met. Additionally, you will quote change orders from drawing changes, RFI's, and customer requests, and report and forecast project profitability while managing the project budget. Responsibilities + Coordinate and direct construction projects in a project management capacity + Serve as the single point of management from pre-planning to total construction administration services + Develop processes, procedures, and systems to deliver projects on schedule and within budget + Coordinate with the project team to ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule + Communicate effectively with the client/owner and onsite construction crews + Ensure project safety, quality, schedule, and other milestones are met + Quote change orders from drawing changes, RFI's, and customer requests + Report and forecast project profitability while managing the project budget Essential Skills + Project management experience in utility construction + Experience with electrical distribution and substation projects + Experience working directly for or supporting an electrical utility on construction projects + PMP certification + Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field OR relevant industry experience + 4+ years of experience in a project management function on electrical distribution, substation, or transmission projects + Ability to work on site when needed + Effective communication, coordination, and management of a team + Experience with full project lifecycle and monitoring/managing scope, budget, and schedule + Ability to effectively communicate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders Additional Skills & Qualifications + PMP Certification is a PLUS Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
