Our client requires a project manager with a proven track record in large project implementation at the program level, strong analytical skills, and leadership qualities to help others grow and manage stakeholders effectively. As a strong decision-maker with insight in stakeholder management, duties include developing and managing project plans, directing and monitoring progress, leading teams, and ensuring projects are completed successfully while mentoring team members. 

Work is hybrid. The client has various offices across Canada for the onsite work.

Responsibilities

Skills/Duties Include:

Develop and oversee the execution of project management plans including budget and risk Direct projects by monitoring progress, identifying variances and creating corrective actions Lead teams through projects by delegating, coaching, motivating and handling conflict Bring projects to a formal conclusion and document the lessons learned for future projects Set expectations, deadlines and ensure they are met Mentor team members and colleagues, and collaborate with other project managers Mandatory Requirements Degree in business or computer science and at least eight years of experience, including at least four years in a project management role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Proven track record of successfully implementing large projects providing oversight at the program level An organized multi-tasker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Leader who excels in helping others grow A decision-maker with insight in stakeholder management Desirable Requirements PMP certification Experience in the Indigenous space Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) awareness or experience Agri-Food or Agricultural Services industry experience
