Reporting to the Manager, Strategy and Project Management, the Project Manager will support a variety of large, complex cross-functional corporate projects to advance our Business Plan priorities. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project planning and delivery. 

 

Using your project management expertise and leadership, you will ensure project objectives are achieved.  Specifically, you will develop and implement project work plans (deliverables and timelines); identify risks/challenges and associated mitigation strategies; and conduct regular work plan status reports to monitor progress and inform decision-making.

 

What will you do?

 Project Leadership

Lead complex, high-impact projects aligned with organizational priorities.Develop project charters, work plans, and schedules to ensure timely, within-scope delivery.Oversee execution, monitor progress, and report to stakeholders.Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.Evaluate project performance and recommend adjustments as needed.Scope, Time, and Budget ManagementDefine deliverables and success metrics with stakeholdersManage timelines, milestones, and budgets for optimal resource use.Address scope or schedule changes effectively through change control processes.Stakeholder and Team CollaborationAct as a central liaison for project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.Build relationships and foster cross-functional collaboration to support project goals.

 Quality and Continuous Improvement

Ensure deliverables meet quality standards through robust planning.Optimize processes and drive innovation to improve outcomes.Shape best practices and contribute to organizational growth.

 What must you have?

University degree in Health Care, Business Administration or related fieldCertificate program in Project ManagementMinimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience at mid-senior levels at an Ontario health or social care organization (hospital, Ontario Health atHome, Community Health Centre, etc.), with a strong understanding of the health system and community care continuumProven expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects using formal project management approachesExceptional communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building skills to foster collaboration and strong partnershipsGood knowledge of budget planning, resource allocation, financial monitoring and reportingProficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams etc.)Flexible, adaptable and responsive to changeSelf-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize and multi-taskDemonstrated critical thinking with strong detail orientationStrong planning and organizational skills to manage a variety of projects simultaneouslyWe have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy.
