We are looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing construction projects, particularly commercial and lab fit-out projects. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with the construction project team to ensure project success.Plan, organize, and staff key field positions.Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.Control and monitor construction through the on-site superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.Provide technical direction and support for staff development.Develop and implement project scheduling standards and procedures.Manage all planning and scheduling activities, including schedule development, progress update reports, and problem analysis.Maintain input for schedules, cost reports, project accounting, estimates, document control, and RFI/shop drawing logs.Prepare meeting agendas, attend project meetings, and distribute minutes.Solicit and obtain quotes for vendor-supplied items and subcontracts.Summarize vendor bids based on price, delivery, quality, and past performance.Negotiate terms and conditions for subcontracts and purchase orders.Handle third-party rental agreements and resolve invoicing issues.Expedite site delivery of materials and labor.Interact with subcontractors and vendors to address construction issues.Correct any material or equipment defects and monitor warranty claims.Assemble closeout documentation in accordance with contract requirements.Essential Skills:3+ years of experience in construction project management, especially with commercial and lab fit-out projects.Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.Exceptional computer skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and a technical understanding of construction assemblies and costs.Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.Additional Skills & Qualifications:A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.Experience with interior construction and commercial fit-outs is essential.Ability to run projects independently without the need for close supervision.Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
