Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a **Hybrid** **Project Manager** position located in Chicago, IL 60181 zip code.
****MUST LIVE IN CHICAGO, IL**
**Shift: Monday – Friday (T/W/TH – In Office, M/F remote)**
**7am – 3:30pm, 8am – 4:30pm, or 9am – 5:30pm**
**Pay Rate: $** **80.00/HR**
**A Project Manager Mid is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. They oversee all aspects of a project,** **including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.**
**Job Duties:**
+ Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
+ Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
+ Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
+ Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
+ Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
+ Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
+ Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
+ Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
+ Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
+ Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.
+ Project Managers Mid should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ They should also be proficient in project management software and tools.
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:**
+ 2+ years Project Management experience
+ Bachelor's degree or higher; engineering or project management preferred.
+ PMP or CAPM preferred
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 products, Asset Suite 8
+ Experience planning and managing design and construction projects for medium voltage (12kV - 69KV) equipment.
+ Demonstrated understanding of Sarbanes Oxley accounting & forecasting principals
+ Demonstrated ability to drive procurement activities.
****** IDEAL CANDIDATE:**
+ Ideal candidates are those who have managed projects through design, construction, and commissioning phases.
+ While engineering experience is highly valued, acting as a lead engineer is not considered equivalent to Project Management.
+ Candidates should demonstrate an ability to establish and maintain financial forecasts, including monthly reporting, demonstrate application of critical path scheduling, have a working knowledge of the electrical utility grid, and experience guiding teams of different disciplines through projects.
+ Candidates need to come ready with specific examples from projects.
