Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from the planning phase to the final milestone and delivery of the ship back to the customer. This role requires in-depth knowledge of both Combatant and Non-Combatant vessels, and the ability to perform complex analysis and develop new methods. The Project Manager will act as the lead representative and prime point of contact for customers, ensuring accuracy in decision-making and reporting to avoid fiscal or reputational risk.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the entire project lifecycle from planning to delivery.
+ Perform complex analysis, concept formulation, and identify new methods.
+ Serve as the lead representative and prime point of contact for customers.
+ Ensure accurate decision-making and reporting to avoid fiscal or reputational risk.
+ Manage technical personnel within complex activities or shipboard availabilities.
+ Coordinate and oversee ship repairs and modifications.
+ Maintain professional relationships with Teaming Partners and Subcontractors.
+ Notify the Accounting Department upon work completion for invoicing and payments.
+ Interact and manage team members effectively.
+ Supervise all employees assigned to the project team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 6 years of shipboard repair experience in a public or private shipyard
+ Prior military experience with the US Navy in an engineering or directly related field
+ Experience managing technical personnel
+ Experience working within a 'Cost Type' or 'Fixed Type' contract
+ Ability to work nights and weekends during peak workloads
+ Willingness to travel and manage ship repair availabilities in remote locations
+ Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.
+ One step onsite interview process and can start ASAP.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr.
