OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing software development projects within the healthcare and human services industry. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare software development and implementation.

 

Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetCollaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverablesDevelop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocationCoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to ensure successful project executionMonitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategiesPrepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in healthcare software developmentProvide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentOther duties as assignedALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and actQualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent demands Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the healthcare software industryStrong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Jira, Zendesk)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of industry standards and best practices in healthcare software development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
