Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description

The Project Manager will bid and plan construction projects and oversee their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Project Manager is responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.

ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully bid construction projects to manage.Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.Meet contractual conditions of performance.Review the work progress on a daily basis.Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.Deliver projects on schedule and under budget.Ensure owner satisfaction with the construction process and end result.Essential SkillsAdvanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.Understanding of all facets of the construction process.Familiarity with construction management software packages.BS degree in construction management, or related field experience.4+ years of Construction Management Experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with estimation software.Experience with Bluebeam.Experience with proposal writing.Familiarity with project management tools.Work Environment

One of the larger general contractors in the area with a steady backlog of work. The role may involve occasional client site visits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
