**Job Title: Wastewater Project Manager** **Job Description** We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Wastewater Project Manager. Our Industrial Group operates treatment plants for its customers throughout the US. Each customer site is managed by an offsite project manager who collaborates with a dedicated onsite Lead Operator and site operations team. This team is responsible for monitoring processes, adjusting controls, performing laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, replenishing chemicals, and maintaining good housekeeping. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations as well as maintaining a working relationship with our clients. **If you are interested in this position after reviewing the job's responsibilities, please apply and an internal recruiter named Jordan will reach out to you within 24-48 hours.** **Responsibilities** + Oversee and engage with our maintenance management and asset tracking program. + Supervise and, if necessary, assist with repairs or replacement of machinery and equipment. + Monitor process conditions and make appropriate recommendations to operators and supervisors for process adjustments in coordination with the Technical staff. + Monitor and assure the routine maintenance on equipment is conducted. + Understand project finances and manage the KPIs of those projects using the financial tools available. + Implement contractor/maintenance work permit system for the site. + Assist in qualification, tour potential project sites, and facilitate proposal preparation including CRM entries. + Meet with client representatives, manage local client relationships, prepare bid documents, and participate in presentations. + Ensure Operators and Supervisors utilize the Digital systems and maintain related accurate operational records. + Be aware of relevant RCRA regulations governing wastes and labeling. + Possess knowledge of the practices used and the equipment required in the O&M of industrial and environmental facilities. + Conduct and oversee routine laboratory and field tests for process control of plant operations. + Ensure training, certifications, and staff development actions are effective and review status with matrix resources for staff at the sites. + Provide leadership for supervisors in the area and coach to develop their skill levels and future capabilities. + Work in a matrix organization to provide guidance and coordinate with support functions needed to successfully operate sites. + Provide direction to the staff around all operational issues. + Responsible for development of H&S site plan associated with the project. **Essential Skills** + 10+ years of operational experience in wastewater treatment. + 5 years of project management experience. + Wastewater Operator license preferred. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Applicable health & safety training. + Demonstrated capability and experience in the appropriate competency. + Valid driver's license. + Ability to obtain or currently hold any licenses necessary for the area managed. + Ability to travel when needed to support existing sites or new opportunities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). + Ability to learn and apply other computer programs utilized in O&M projects. + Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of pumps, valves, motors, controls, and other related water and industrial wastewater treatment equipment. **Why Work Here?** We offer growth opportunities such as Lead Operator, Project Manager, Maintenance Specialist, Technical Specialist, Operations Supervisor, and Operations Manager.
