Citrix Project Manager 12+ month contract opportunity HYBRID IN GOLDEN VALLEY, MN (remote candidates will NOT be considered) **MUST HAVE CITRIX EXPERIENCE** Overview: this posting is for a project manager who will report up through Enterprise PMO and drive our Citrix VDI and Apps migration to Azure Cloud initiative. Essential Functions: · Facilitate seamless delivery and drive collaboration across cross-functional global project team · Proactive leadership and monitoring to identify and mitigate critical path or resource issues · Manage project SDLC documentation following standards (i.e. Team Working Agreement, Agile Release Report, Status Reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, decisions) · Monitor progress of deliverables, quality, proactively identifying risks, issues and escalation as needed with appropriate leadership · Create and maintain plan in MS Project Server; includes budget & forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and ensuring resources have appropriate time tracking buckets setup to bill time. Project Server is our core resource planning and financial management · Partner with the team in creating a communication plan that includes stakeholder communication, change management for rollouts, and internal team meeting interfaces · Partner with functional resource managers to ensure work efforts are effectively resourced · Follow release management process to schedule and manage delivery releases · Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations & escalations · Guarantee compliance with delivery processes and standards Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements: · Strong understanding of citrix virtual apps and desktops, citrix gateway, and virtualization technologies, with hands-on experience in citrix migrations being a plus. · Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, etc) and the integration with Citrix solutions, including knowledge of IAAS and cloud security best practices · Basic understanding of networking (VPN, firewalls, load balancers), server infra, and enpoint management to effectively oversee the migration process and coordinate with technical teams · Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) · Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project · Experience in formal techniques of risk management · Excellent organizational and communication skills · Experience collaborating and providing project leadership in cross-functional teams · Excellent relationship management skills Education & Experience: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · 5+ years of IT delivery management experience · PMP certification or other formal project management training preferred · Citrix VDI cloud migration experience preferred ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
