Job Description
Our client, a small to mid-sized General Contractor, is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead and manage commercial and is open to learn and help grow their SCIF construction projects ranging from white box to high-profile, upscale locations. The role involves budgeting, scheduling, and managing all components of Federal, SCIF, and commercial projects.
ResponsibilitiesManage up to three team members including field personnel and Assistant Project Managers.Oversee the commercial interior projects from inception to completion.Coordinate all trades and ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.Supervise and collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.Conduct various Project Management meetings with both the internal team and clients.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in GC, specializing in commercial interior work or relevant construction.Open to learning more about SCIF Construction projects and helping run a new division of workProficient in budgeting, scheduling, and supervising subcontractors day-to-day on the jobsite.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in project management software and tools.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Work Environment
This is a blue-collar work environment with a small office where everyone gets along well, although it can be very loud at times. The team consists of passionate, honest individuals who are dedicated to their work. This role offers a great opportunity to grow into a leadership position and work on high-profile SCIF projects in both DC and VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
