Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining communication throughout the project lifecycle.

ResponsibilitiesReceive projects from the project executive and estimating teamMeet with the project executive and Field Manager to review new projects in detailMeet with the foreman and key subcontractors to develop a clear understanding of the scope, job scheduling, and labor expectations, typically accomplished through a kick-off meetingSchedule and coordinate shop drawingsReview and understand the job bid sheet and the intent of the construction acquisition department (project executives, estimating, engineering)Work with the project assistant to prepare and submit submittals, release, and track equipment ordersEnsure that the projected gross profit of projects is realized or exceededControl all projects on-site in a hands-on mannerDevelop and track all RFI’s, RCO’s, and job cost monitoring throughout the projectCoordinate sub-contractors, including insulators, rigging, balancing, piping, controls, etc.Coordinate material and equipment deliveriesCoordinate manpower requirements with the Field ManagerAttend job meetingsBuild relationships with CM’s and GC’s supervisors and project managersProvide concise updates of project status at weekly Friday morning company meetingsEnsure a strong job closeout by confirming all subcontractors are complete, control package expectations are met, scheduling walk-throughs with the foreman and service tech to confirm start-up readiness, and coordinating balancing and start-upAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related fieldExperience in the construction industry is a plus but not a requirementStrong cultural fit with the teamWork Environment

This position involves a combination of in-office work, traveling to local job sites, and meeting with various stakeholders. The role offers support and training for entry-level candidates and involves working on interesting projects such as hospitals, natural history museums, and historical buildings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $38.46/hr.
