General NotesFlexible work arrangements are available for this position, including the ability to work remotely. We would prefer a candidate located in the Central Texas Region who is available to come to campus for occasional in-person events, team meetings, team building activities, etc.
This position provides life/work balance with typically a 40-hour work week and travel limited to training (e.g., conferences/courses).

PurposeThis Project Manager on the Identity and Access Management team will provide essential project management support for operations and strategic IAM projects.
ResponsibilitiesManage the project lifecycle for projects of moderate complexity including project plans, resource requirements, change management processes, risk and issue management, key milestones, communication mechanisms, status reporting, and deliverables. Develop, direct, and evaluate assigned projects using accepted project management methodologies and approaches (e.g. waterfall, Agile, iterative, etc.).Communicate and consult with clients, project team members, and other stakeholders. Work with key stakeholders to provide operational support, maintenance, and enhancement efforts for IAM services. Work with governance committees, customers, technical partners, senior management, and other stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and plan efforts.Participate in a full range of supervisory activities, including setting expectations, performance management, and evaluations for direct and indirect reports. Mentors and coaches as needed.Lead technology project teams that require the collaboration of multiple staff internally and externally.Be accountable for setting expectations, task management and prioritization, performance management, and evaluations for staff assigned to projects.Employ understanding of industry practices and campus policies and procedures to manage and resolve complex issues.Work independently and exercise good judgment. Recognize ambiguous assignments and take necessary steps to determine what needs to be done to respond effectively and in a timely manner.Take ownership and drive getting project technical, business, and/or strategic decisions made and documented. Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in addressing both internal and external challenges.Perform other related functions as assigned.Required QualificationsEstablished project management experience in IT, software, and/or application development.Proven ability to develop a detailed project plan.Demonstrated ability to estimate, track, and deliver established project milestones.Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently across multiple tasks and projects.Demonstrated strong customer communication and listening skills.Experience handling multiple, concurrent assignments and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to recognize and clarify ambiguous assignments.Demonstrated ability to cope with and address challenges to project success.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent internal consulting and management skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred QualificationsAt least two years of experience in project management.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience with project management in a large enterprise environment.Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project to manage project plans.Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently under pressure of rigid deadlines and time limitations.Demonstrated ability to drive effective results in a diverse and challenging environment.Demonstrated ability to motivate others and manage conflict.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Salary Range$ 75,000 + depending on qualifications
