The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Facades Division in our Brisbane CBD office. This role is integral to overseeing, organizing, and coordinating the project delivery while ensuring that the work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the SRG Global representative, you’ll be responsible for managing both the project and on-site staff, providing leadership and direction, and ensuring safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and monitor project management plans to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Lead and mentor site supervisors, document controllers, and site personnel through regular communication and site visits. Oversee subcontractors and consultants to ensure they meet contract requirements and deliver quality work. Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget, managing resources and coordinating subcontractors efficiently. Collaborate with managers to estimate and control costs, reporting monthly on the project’s financial status. Identify and mitigate risks, promptly addressing issues to avoid delays or cost overruns. Manage subcontractor progress claims and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and variations. Update and adjust project schedules to ensure milestones are met and any changes are incorporated. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on-site. Ensure work meets quality standards and maintain client communication throughout the project. Oversee post-construction activities and ensure the timely delivery of final reports and manuals. Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and build strong client relationships to support business growth. Review and advise on the design and construction of the project to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely delivery. Attend site inspections, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain detailed records. Monitor and ensure subcontractors' compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements. Lead and drive a commitment to continuous improvement in quality and safety practices.

Skills & Experience

Tertiary or trade qualifications (essential). Diploma in Project Management (desirable). Cert IV/Diploma in WHS (desirable). 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry, ideally in facades or similar projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with key Stakeholders and Clients. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations and best practices. Strong financial / commercial acumen. Ability to lead a team, influence key stakeholders and maintain strong relationships. Ability to solve complex problems using logical rationale. Deadline-oriented and able to balance competing priorities, whilst working well under pressure.
