Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager works with staff throughout the credit union to manage and execute new projects at GreenState Credit Union. The position completes work with minimal guidance and direction, and typical project management assignments have a high level of complexity which may involve unstructured and ambiguous situations. Assignments may also include a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality and specialized knowledge or experience. Strong organizational skills (planning and prioritizing) and communication skills (written, verbal, listening) are critical in this position, as is the ability to successfully adapt to diverse people and situations, manage conflict, proactively resolve issues and complete assignments on time. Must demonstrate developed skills in leadership, negotiation and facilitation techniques and interact professionally with staff and management at all levels. Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies and principles and possesses strong technical and analytical stills. Will often serve in a mentoring and leadership role.

Salary range for this position is $119,078.70 - $139,216.74/yr with a progressive benefit package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
+ Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
+ Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
+ Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
+ Ensures confidentiality of member information.
+ Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
+ Managing projects, which involves determining project deliverables and timelines, developing a project plan and managing to the plan, coordinating and leading meetings, preparing meeting minutes and status reports. Working with team members to resolve issues. Coordinating activities of a project team which may include individuals from multiple teams, departments and locations.
+ Manage and deliver assigned projects to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
+ Provides continuous communication on project status to all appropriate parties.
+ Developing relationships and expertise within the departments to provide continued value-add services.
+ Acts as liaison with various business groups in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business processes.
+ Recognizes promising ideas and finds ways to introduce them into the company’s future plans and discards ideas that are ineffective, costly, or beyond the scope of the company’s mission or abilities to develop.
+ Analyzes existing practices to isolate areas ripe for improvement or enhancement.
+ Leads cross-functional projects and teams, ensuring successful project implementation.
+ Supporting departments in creating a business case, including cost benefit analysis.
Job Requirements/Expectations
+ Strong organizational and communication skills are critical to this position, as are the ability to successfully adapt to diverse people and situations, manage conflict, proactively resolve issues and strong time management.
+ Developed skills in leadership, relationship building, negotiation and influence, and facilitation techniques.
+ Effectively interact with staff and management at all levels, including the senior team.
+ Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies and principles relies on strong technical and analytical skills.
+ Serve in a mentoring and leadership role and must be able to influence without direct organizational authority.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent training/experience required.
+ Good understanding of the financial services industry.
+ Three to five years of similar or related work experience.
+ Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process, modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling preferred.
+ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
+ Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of productivity, adaptability, innovation and follow-through.
+ Ability to track and juggle multiple tasks/priorities.
+ Must be bondable.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Program and Change Management Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
