Our Client, a Retail And Corporate And Institutional Banking Solutions company, is looking for a Project Manager for their Jersey City, NJ/New York, NY location. Responsibilities:
+ This function covers incumbents that are responsible for the management of significant projects on a firm-wide scale which are not associated with any particular infrastructure or business area. Responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) on a firm-wide scale. Work typically on multi-disciplinary projects and require a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions. This incumbent may also be responsible for the tools and methods of six sigma, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Process Management, Lean and Project Selection. Responsible for the management of cross-functional projects. Staff provides consulting services, business expertise, analysis, and recommendations, typically relating to corporate initiatives. Participates as a member of a large team, addressing process reengineering, information management, technical implementation, and business strategy.
+ Writing test cases
+ Running the UAT sessions with IT and Operations partners
+ Tracking & Publishing UAT progress
+ Development of the detailed project plan and tracking the progress
+ Budget tracking
+ Tracking/monitoring progress of blocking conditions prior to GO Live.
+ Lead meetings with business and IT partners to gather high-level business requirements.
+ Prepare slides and distribute minutes for the Steering Committee and Operating Committee meetings
+ Coordinate the rollout into production
+ Impacts division and influences peers and team
+ Demonstrates good judgement when making decisions of high complexity and impact
+ Relies on limited guidance for most complex decision making
+ Responsible for driving outcomes which have meaningful effect on team or department
+ Creates trust with department leaders
+ Acts in leadership capacity for large projects, processes, or programs for a team
+ Able to build relationships with a mix of intermediate and senior colleagues or clients
+ Interacts regularly with management and department leaders
+ Demonstrates the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders at the team level
+ Takes full responsibility for personal actions and demonstrates courage in facing problems and conflicts
+ Perceived as a person of high moral character; upholds corporate values and displays high ethical standards”
+ Main goal is to support a major global activity migration with strong operational complexity with Front Office, Trade Support, PnL, Finance and Technology teams
+ Requirements gathering and Requirements documentation updates
Requirements:
+ Knowledge of the trade lifecycle from execution to settlement in the following areas:
+ Equity Derivatives
+ Securities Lending
+ Fixed Income
+ Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation.
+ Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones.
+ Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation.
+ Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Wiki
