Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of steel projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management principles. Responsibilities + Plan, execute, and finalize steel projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. + Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with management and stakeholders. + Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Coordinate and manage project teams, including assigning tasks and responsibilities. + Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks. + Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. + Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. + Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Essential Skills + Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the steel or construction industry. + Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. + Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. + Strong organizational and time management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in scheduling and planning project activities. + Experience in managing budgets and finances. + Experience in coordinating various activities such as design, engineering, procurement, and site activities. + Ensuring compliance with building and safety codes. + Knowledge of construction management, project coordination, RFI, AutoCAD, estimation, project engineering, steel manufacturing, steel design, steel detailing, and metal fabrication. Work Environment The work environment involves managing steel projects from inception to completion. This includes working with various teams and stakeholders, adhering to strict deadlines, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. The role requires proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while maintaining strong organizational and time management skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
