Job Description

We specialize in General Contracting, Building, Concrete, and Masonry. We are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team. The position involves managing one or more ongoing projects throughout Metro Detroit, with project values ranging from $250k to $2 million. Our company has two divisions: General Contracting Division and Concrete & Masonry Division. We are looking to hire a Project Manager for our General Contracting Division. Typical projects range from $250k-$2 million and average turnaround times range from 1 week to 8 weeks. The Project Manager will handle 2-3 projects simultaneously.

ResponsibilitiesWork with estimators to put detailed bids out to current and new customers.Review subcontractor proposals.Collaborate with management and office staff to get subcontractor agreements out to trades.Manage jobsites, trades, and material.Communicate job progress, change orders, etc., with customers and staff.Essential Skills5 years of experience as a Project Manager managing commercial or high-end residential renovations.Experience overseeing projects from conception to completion.Understanding of carpentry and general contracting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a Carpenter or Field Foreman.Degree in a related field.Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, and Procore.Work Environment

This is a family-owned company with a continuous flow of business from long-standing relationships within residential, commercial, and industrial industries. Project Managers will report to the office before going out to job sites, with the furthest job being up to 1 hour away. An assigned vehicle will be provided for job site visits. The average job location is 30-45 minutes from the office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $48.07/hr.
