Architecture Project Manager - Multifamily Residential

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The role involves overseeing project design, drawing set production and coordination, construction and project administration, mentoring junior staff, and reporting to sr management. This position requires excellent drafting skills, project management capabilities, and a thorough understanding of building code compliance.

ResponsibilitiesOversee project design, drawing set production, and coordination.Manage consultants on building projects, including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting, and acoustical consultants.Review DOB objections and ensure Building Code compliance, client preferences, and design intent.Perform Quality Control (QC) reviews of drawing sets.Handle Construction Administration and documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, submittal of drawing reviews, and familiarity with CSI Divisions.Support sr management, COO, and the Principal to assure client satisfaction.Document project correspondence, prepare meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.Essential SkillsBachelor of Architecture required; Masters Preferred. 4-year Bachelor of Architectural Science may be considered.3-6 years of architectural work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Project Coordination or Management.Proficiency in Revit, CADD, InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D computer modeling software.Complex problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment.Proficiency in NYC building code, NYC Energy Code, NYC Zoning Resolutions, NYC Plumbing Code, NYC Mechanical Code, NYC Fire Code, NYC Department of Buildings filing processes, and Accessibility/ADA code knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Interior Design is a plus.Work Environment

The office is a beautiful open space located in a Downtown Brooklyn high rise with 360-degree views of the city. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday in the office, with Fridays working from home. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $52.88
