The function of the Project Manager is to support the Program Manager and other Project Managers in planning and execution of program elements. This position is within Army Programs and will be supporting projects related to development and production of propulsion systems.  This role is expected to create and track demand related to HFE engines.  The role requires significant coordination between engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to ensure quality products are delivered on time and within budget.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Familiarity with aviation propulsion systems is a plus.  Previous experience within aviation engineering and manufacturing environment is desired.Support the Program Manager on projects and contract proposals requested by the customer.    Collaborate and assist with development of project plans and manage resources to ensure project or proposal cost, schedule, and performance (quality) are achieved to meet commitments.  Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and present results to the project management team and/or management.Interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels concerning projects.Contribute to the development of new business opportunities on the program and expansion of existing business opportunities.Administer and execute policies, processes, and procedures that impact the assigned project.Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet program commitments and customer objectives.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Ensure work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Configuration Management experience is desired.Familiarity with GA Finance and SAP processes is preferred.Earned Value management techniques will be required in this roll.Control Account Management (CAM) duty familiarity is preferred.
