Job Title: Project Manager/Assistant Project ManagerJob Description We are seeking a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager for an MDOT project in Glen Burnie. This role is integral to managing and leading project teams, ensuring the safe completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and to both company and customer satisfaction. You will be crucial in developing high-performance teams, maintaining client relationships, and promoting professional development. Responsibilities + Manage and lead the project team. + Ensure project completion within budget, on schedule, and to quality standards. + Develop and mentor high-performance teams. + Provide timely feedback and complete employee performance appraisals. + Motivate the project team and maintain a positive work environment. + Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors regarding project risks, timetables, costs/budgets, and change management. + Determine and define scope of work and deliverables. + Establish work plans and schedules for each project phase. + Prepare project manuals and bid packages. + Manage the CM bid process, including post-bid reviews. + Assess and maintain client relationships. + Coordinate development and delivery of project planning services with the Project Planning Leader. + Oversee accurate processing of project information documents. + Review client needs and contractual obligations to ensure proper service. + Establish subcontract agreements and work scopes for trade contractors. + Lead trade contractor relations. + Contribute to business development efforts. + Promote professional development within the project team. + Provide motivational and constructive feedback to team members. Essential Skills + Project management experience. + Engineering knowledge. + Construction and construction management experience. + Degree in AEC or relevant experience. + Experience with $10 million dollar projects. + Proficiency in Procore and interiors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in P6. + Institutional or federal experience preferred. Work Environment The role requires working the day shift and being onsite as needed in Glen Burnie. You will work on an MDOT project, utilizing innovative and cutting-edge technology, and have the opportunity to learn from experienced project managers and executives.
