You Are:

UST is searching for a Project Manager who with some guidance from Specialist I, will manage end-to-end client Product Implementations for clients, by leveraging own technical expertise derived from multiple product implementations completed for multiple domains.

 

The opportunity:

·       Travel – Travel required.

·       Build and deploy SQL processing and / or reporting infrastructure as directed by the Billing Director, to support BHS Billing data priorities.

·       Liaise with end users and subject matter experts for task related information and research across BHS Billing, Billing Application Vendors, and other Dept and Application SMEs

·       Independently or under minimal supervision initiate and move forward on assigned tasks, while keeping the Director of Billing frequently informed of progress, roadblocks, questions, or issues that arise via email.

·       Read, interpret, and apply regulatory and other complex rules / policies / procedures utilized within BHS Billing to SQL process and reports development.

·       Quickly and efficiently learn and digest various documents and regulations and understand how they relate to the data and data structures within the CalPM Billing data tables.

·       Create stored procedures and contribute to SSIS packages as needed and requested by the Billing Director

·       Edit and maintain existing SQL scripts and processes to meet evolving and changing regulatory needs and billing rules.

·       Work collaboratively with Billing Supervisors and Analysts to accomplish implementation of assigned projects.

·       Serve as internal expert and project manage advanced SQL reporting infrastructure development and Billing workflow processes, ensuring all aspects of requirements gathering, development, testing, validation, documentation, and outcomes are clearly communicated, understood, and accepted / approved by the Billing Director and Billing Dept Analysts, Supervisors and relevant SMEs.

·       Assist in troubleshooting and correcting issues with Avatar reporting tools like Crystal Reports, both vendor supplied and internally developed.

·       Suggest improvements to current reports and processes that have been prioritized for work by the Billing Director.

·       Provide excellent written and communication skills to properly document processes and technical solutions across a wide range of stakeholders within a complex healthcare delivery system.

·       Address technical issues or reporting challenges with appropriate, logical, solutions that strive for optimal simplicity in design, maintenance and end user understanding and acceptance.

·       Under direction and guidance from the Billing Director, make Avatar Billing Application updates to system settings, test changes in TEST system and document and report test outcomes, implement and monitor outcomes in LIVE system post implementation for data validity and expected outcomes. Task 1 Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

·        ServiceNow ticket creation, maintenance and completion of work assigned.

·       Build, test, implement and monitor and report back on outcomes of solutions developed for projects outlined by Billing Director

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       3+ years advanced experience with SQL scripting in MS SQL Server Management Studio, with demonstrated ability to write complex SQL queries, nested queries, multiple joins, and understanding of logic / order of operations.

·       3+ years of advanced data analysis, data validation, and report writing.

·       3+ years working with applications in healthcare billing or finance or in a general billing application.

·       2+ years in lead role for SQL processing and reports / data analysis solution development in complex organization or data processing environment like healthcare billing or finance

·       Desired Qualifications

o   Knowledge of healthcare billing concepts, terminology, and functions

o   Microsoft SSIS experience

o   Power BI experience

o   Microsoft Access experience

o   Crystal Reports experience

o   Experience working in the Avatar CalPM Billing Application                                                                                   

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:   $88,000-$132,000

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
