As our Project Manager of Business Transformation and Innovation, you will be responsible for excelling in the ASICS way of operating, elevating our integrated project management approach and ensuring our strategy-aligned interregional and cross-functional projects are well handled.  

This role's specific focus is managing projects related to IT infrastructure and Technical Applications. You will run projects with the clear goal of achieving objectives within the expected performance targets for time, costs, quality, benefits, and risks, utilising the tools, methodology, and best practices available within ASICS.

How you’ll help us.             

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Manager Business Transformation and Innovation, and as part of the role, you’ll:    

Enable overall transformation, project, and work stream deliverables in alignment with stakeholders. 

Deliver assigned projects within budget, on time and to the specified quality level.  

Orchestrate the business case process in conjunction with business control to assure all initiatives are enabling a further profitable growth. 

Assure the financial effects of projects and initiatives are visible and well analysed while focusing on ROI. 

Lead assessments, oversee project results, and translate outcomes into insights to successfully steer the transformation. 

Ensure a smooth handover of the project into running operations, including co-developing training and handover material. 

Support an aligned strategic roadmap creation and implement a clear prioritisation process with key stakeholders. 

Manage effective and timely communication on project progress, risks and results to sponsors and senior management. 

Build the appropriate structure to manage, guide, and lead the respective (virtual) project teams effectively. 

Identify and motivate the right stakeholders to ensure a smooth project delivery. 

Ensure appropriate leadership skills are present at every level by creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development  

Provide team members, peers, and all stakeholders with clear direction and targets and encourage open communication and discussion. 

Be working in deadline situations, effectively managing multiple priorities and navigating an organisational structure with diverse international cultures. 

  

More about you. 

Masters degree in a relevant field (computer science, or related technical field). 

Experience in using Project Management tools like Project Planning, Process Mapping and Change Management. 

Knowledge of operational performance management, Lean, Continuous Improvement principles. 

Project organisation skills and at least two years' experience in applying Lean, continuous improvement concepts or relevant project leadership experience in multinational organisation. 

Proven track record in problem solving and interdisciplinary project management. 

Ability to think strategically, synthesise complex data and develop innovative solutions. 

Strong communication (both written and verbal), presentation and facilitation skills (small and large groups) in English. 

Business experience on IT Infrastructure.
