What a day at EXP has in store for you

Lead the structural design for complex and conventional bridge designs Performs tasks on projects requiring a broad and deep knowledge in a field of expertise related to bridge structures.  Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets along with coordinating and supervising the preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and other technical documents. Lead project teams on bridge and temporary works design, constructability review, construction and Life Cycle Cost estimates, load rating. Supervise, coordinate, and manage the production of drawings and specifications while also reviewing design options for both technical and financial impact.  Perform site and field inspections and condition assessments. Oversee project construction including coordination and reviews of shop drawings and Requests for Information Supervise and direct staff engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines as well as scope and budget requirements

 

 

What your experience looks like

20+ years progressively responsible relevant experience. MS in Civil/Structural Engineering. PE and SE License Prior experience with complex bridge projects Knowledge AASHTO and bridge analysis, design and detailing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians. Strong leadership, project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to mentor structural engineers.
