Our client requires a project manager to manage implementation of an Enterprise Asset Management solution to support enhanced delivery of public transit services. Duties include developing detailed implementation and cut-over plans for software and device deployments, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, and ensuring all activities are tracked. It also includes managing knowledge transition deliverables, meeting PMO gating requirements, and working with Application Architects on governance and administration of Environment and Configuration management.
This position is designated as a ‘hybrid position’ which requires the resources to work at the office (with occasional work taking place at other Client facilities) at least 20% of the week. An expectation to work at the New Westminster location and travel to other client locations in the Greater Vancouver Area as requested at consultant’s expense. Resource shall be available during the Clients standard business office hours between 7:30AM–5PM Pacific Standard Time.

ResponsibilitiesDuties Include:
Identify business problems or opportunities and provide recommendations aligning with program objectives. Develop Business Cases and related supporting documents. Submit and present capital funding requests to Committee for approval. Prepare project planning documents utilizing PMO methodology and templates. Execute and monitor all aspects of project plans, including WBS, financials, procurements, communications, benefits, stakeholders, quality, risks, and decisions. Direct activities of internal and external resources, such as Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts. Coordinate the collection, cleansing, and migration of asset data to the new system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Work with technical teams to ensure smooth integration of the asset management system with other enterprise applications and tools Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources and stakeholder communication. Develop and manage project governance structures and ensure smooth project execution with all required documentation and stakeholder communication Ensure all required environments (development, staging, production) are set up, configured, and tested appropriately before project milestones. Ensure any changes to environments are documented, tested, and communicated in line with organizational change management processes Oversee the immediate post-cutover phase, ensuring any issues or disruptions are promptly addressed and resolved Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in asset management system implementations or similar enterprise‐level software. Proven experience managing environments and cutover activities in complex systems deployments. Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS ADO, Trello). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In‐depth understanding of asset management processes, tools, and systems. Experience with systems integration, data migration, and cutover management in enterprise IT environments. Strong problem‐solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation and proactive issue resolution. Ability to manage cross‐functional teams and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Desirable RequirementsITIL Foundation or related certifications
